We’ve moved into The White House
It’s not quite Washington, we’re still here in Warrington. Plane Perspective is super excited to announce that we have relocated our offices to The White House within Wilderspool Business Park. This beautiful Grade II listed building is a fantastic work space that gets all our creative juices flowing. A perfect fit to meet our needs and to suit our expansion as a marketing agency.
Greenalls Brewery (1787-1990)
The Wilderspool Business Park site is the former Greenalls Brewery. We’re located next to the Manchester Ship Canal and Stockton Heath village. The White House was built and originally occupied by the Greenall family from 1787 until 1838, whereupon Sir Gilbert Greenall built and moved to Walton Hall. The White House became the on-site home for the brewery manager until c1900.
Wilderspool Business Park
Greenall, Whitley & Co. Ltd. closed the Wilderspool Brewery site in 1990. Several buildings were demolished and the four remaining were converted into offices and apartments soon after. Whilst we shed a nostalgic tear for the passing of such a historic foundation of the local area, we are also proudly privileged to be part of its future. The White House hosts a vibrant hub of companies and entrepreneurs who we look forward to meeting and getting to know through the coming months.
And so it’s on with business in our new surroundings. Our customer base is growing and we are now marketing to an increasingly diverse range of industries. However working next to the Malt Building and Brew House throughout the week, we can see ourselves being tempted into having a cheeky pint this Friday. After all, I’m sure this is one place where it’s a tradition.
